Freestyles are AWESOME guns! I have two '04's. A black/blue fade that has been totally worked on by Vaporworks and a back/red fade that I just got from firstcallpaintball.com new-in-the-box for $149 - a steal! I was expecting a gen 1 gun, but the new one was a gen 2! These guns are every bit as good as $1000 markers.
I was really sad to see ICD stop making markers. They have always, imo, had the best bang-for-the-buck markers out there. The Freestyle was the top of the line. I've shot several models of the marker and they all shot wonderfully. Learn how to adjust the regs, put lube on the bolt and you will have no problem with these markers. If you can find them around, they are GREAT and will be a great deal.
Have a good one!

Just picked up 2 FS 8 markers this weekend cheap. Awesome guns!. As fast as my Vaporworks tricked-out '04 Freestyle, and they are stock! The Predator lite boards are awesome!
Have a good one!

They're certainly lawnmowers, the BKO I had was too fast for it's own good and it would outrun it's reg and chop. I've often pondered picking up a FS or a Promaster, but have never heard much in terms of accuracy.
At 100 feet what kind of one shot accuracy are we talking? Pie tin? Hopper?
Through a peep hole?

I have 3 Freestyles and a ProMaster and a WGP Autococker and I can't tell the difference in accuracy between any of them. When broken in and the regs adjusted properly, the markers are tack drivers.
Have a good one!
